_Traces_ is a solo exhibition by Dara Lorenzo, offering a visually immersive narrative that explores the human shared experience through a complex arrangement of mixed printmaking processes. Featuring large-scale monotype photogravure prints on BFK Rives paper, the exhibition uses visual storyboarding to create a layered environment that reflects both inner and outer spaces. The works delve into the representation of the mind and personal memories, blending abstract imagery with elements of human connection, survival, and collaboration.

At the heart of _Traces_ is the exploration of those strange, fleeting moments that occur between deeper connections—those “in-between” spaces where the answers are elusive, but the emotions are palpable. Lorenzo's prints, with their rich textures and thoughtful compositions, invite the viewer to reflect on these intimate moments of vulnerability and strength, offering a poignant meditation on memory, friendship, and the unspoken bonds that define the human experience.

Baltimore based multimedia artist, [Dara Lorenzo](https://www.cohart.com/hayparlorart/) holds a BFA from Towson University 2008 in Printmaking, an MFA in 2012 from San Francisco Art Institute in Printmaking and Interdisciplinary Studies. Currently residing in Baltimore, MD she has her own art practice and owns Zo Gallery, a multi media art gallery in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. She currently exhibits her work in Baltimore and San Francisco art galleries this year 2024. She also is a professor of the arts currently at Towson University, Goucher College and CCBC.
