CRK’s journey through art, music, and architecture began with a nod from his preschool teacher and summers at Anderson Art Ranch in Colorado. From starting a wine label design business to rediscovering painting during the pandemic, his creative evolution is shaped by both personal passion and community ties in East Austin.

Felipe Gomez, an Austin-based artist originally from Bogota, Colombia, transitioned from the tech sector to pursue his passion for art full-time in 2019, crafting his own studio space in his garage. With a decade of experience spanning wood-layering, painting, and murals, Felipe’s style fuses street art, screen-printing, and clay sculpture techniques into intricate, 1⁄8-inch wood slabs. His recent works delve into socio-political themes, indigenous culture, and the nuances of gender and race, inviting viewers to engage with important narratives alongside their visual appeal.

Mai Gutierrez is an architectural designer and artist based in Austin, TX. Material exploration is central to Gutierrez’s process, as she embraces the unique qualities of each, transforming them into expressions of her artistic vision. Her Mexican heritage and connection to nature deeply influence her work, incorporating organic forms, textures, and materials into her art. Stone, wood, and metal form the building blocks of her creations, infusing them with timeless elegance and authenticity. Her artworks embody her creative spirit, reflecting her thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences.
