_Dirt and Myth_, Patricia Belli's first solo exhibition in Germany, is at _daadgalerie_. Born in 1964 in Managua, Nicaragua, Belli was a 2021/2022 fellow of the Artists-in-Berlin Program.

Belli's multidisciplinary practice uses fibers and everyday objects to explore body-system entanglements and precarious balances. Her work addresses gender, sexuality, and transformation, creating a textural language rooted in diverse desires. Through craft-based practices, she materializes a counter-poetics to heteropatriarchal systems.

The exhibition showcases about twenty-five works spanning Belli's career, including sculptures, videos, and a new version of "El Circo (The Circus, 2001)". Recent works address contemporary social and environmental crises.
