_Caravan_, a new exhibition by Cohart artist **[Carl Yonders](https://www.cohart.com/carlyonderart/profile)** at Blue Door Gallery; it reflects on the journey of life through a dynamic series of paintings. Inspired by a recent personal move, Yonders captures the emotional upheaval and creative renewal that came with adjusting to a new studio space. As he navigated the process of packing and unpacking, memories from childhood, adulthood, and shared experiences with his partner surfaced, informing the work. The exhibition examines the paths we all take as we move through time, balancing the present with reflections on the past and hopes for the future.

In _Caravan_, the figures and narratives evoke the idea that life is a shared journey, with each of us on our own unique path, yet often moving toward the same destination. Yonders’ use of vibrant colors, abstracted forms, and fluid compositions speaks to both the continuity and disruption that shape our lives.
