**Dear Cohart Community,**

Welcome to our latest Cohart community newsletter! To kick things off, I am delighted to share that our artist community has grown throughout the early weeks of 2024, thanks to the curatorial contributions of [Monty Preston](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAACvZp9YBhWGFHnw1ossN5GttIWMgO-pMnTE), our head of Artist Relations! 🎨✨ 

Here's a snapshot of what we've witnessed in the first weeks of January:

- 🚀 **High-Quality Growth**: Our artist community is flourishing. Talented artists are joining our community every day. From **500 to 5,000 Monthly Active Users (MAU) last quarter through word of mouth**, we now have ~1,000 artists building their profiles, selling their artworks, and connecting with hundreds of global collectors and art lovers in our community.

- ✅ **Verified Artists**: 30% of all Cohart artists are **verified to sell**. Verification guarantees we create a trusted environment for collectors to purchase with confidence.

- 🎨 **The more art, the better!** Cohart artists have been busy making and selling! Since the start of 2024, **over 700** artworks have been shared on Cohart —a 44% surge compared to the previous month!

Now, we are shifting our focus towards enhancing the Cohart consumer experience, building key features that will make discovering these talented artists and purchasing their work seamless and personalized. 🌟👩‍🎨 

Here are some things to look forward to in these next few weeks:

- An **ai-enabled personalized curation** experience

- New **curated collections** of art to discover

- A site-wide **UX audit**

- Collector and art advisor **storefronts**

We're thrilled to highlight his recent milestones with the acquisition of "Ostrich Dreams" by Makersplace CEO Craig Palmer and the sell-out success of "The Peace in Perfection" canvas print. Currently featured in two LA group shows, with upcoming exhibitions in NYC and Soho, VAKSEEN gains international recognition at the US Embassy in Tajikistan Dushanbe, underscoring VAKSEEN's growing influence.
