Maria is a woodcarving artist based in Indianapolis. Her wooden sculptures have found homes in both the bedrooms of children and fine art gallery exhibits. She creates whimsical wood spirits and fairy houses, carved solely with hand tools. Each carving is a unique reflection of the journey of each piece of wood and the tree from which it came.
