Bio

Ben Stephenson, British artist born in 1990, resides in Mexico, where he explores themes of colonialism, exoticism, and voyeurism. Drawing from his experiences in Latin America, he reinterprets indigenous narratives through a surrealistic lens, inspired by folklore. Stephenson's work has been exhibited in notable venues in Mexico and the UK, including his first museum exhibition in 2021. He was awarded First Prize by the Mexican Embassy in London in 2021 for sculpture.
