Amanda Angela Soenoko has been actively creating art since 2010, including two-dimensional visual works, urban photography, short films, and performance art. Notable among her works are “Girls Gangs of Indonesia” at Newsagency Gallery (Sydney, 2013), “Project #00” 5 min digital video (Galeri Soemardja & Galeri Semarang, 2010), and “Exposure 2023” (Yogyakarta, 2023). As a self-taught artist, Amanda is known for her works that emerge beyond her conscious control, expressing emotions and subconscious feelings onto paper or canvas. These mediums allow her to explore the interplay between the societal world and her personal spiritual realm.
