This piece draws inspiration from retreating glaciers, exploring themes of time, change, and memory. Layered textures and fluid forms mirror the quiet power of nature, shaping the world even as it fades. Light and shadow add depth, reminding us that while nothing lasts forever, every moment leaves a mark.

This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.

Size unframed: 74.8x 63” (190×160cm) with approximately 3” (8cm) of bleeds on all sides for stretching.

On linen canvas. This painting is shipped rolled in a tube and has to be stretched. Please contact customer suppport if you prefer it stretched and framed (shipped in a crate).

Memories of a glacier

This calm abstract tondo painting is inspired by a soft breeze during summer evenings. The rhythms of daily life are becoming quieter, there's more time to enjoy how things are slowing down. I love that feeling and the idea that there's eventually time for passions and imagination.
