One in particular comes to mind, a newspaper clipping from a news story,
a New York rock band was all the rage with a fireworks show, platform shoes and makeup,
well this piece of art was inspired by one of they, a musician who came from space
and played a guitar that exhaled smoke and spit sparks to the rhythm of the chords
of each piece of music.

I painted it from a photo that really inspired me and I felt his passion and joy and wanted to be a part of it. The original is sold but it is available in various sizes in fine, museum quality, Giclee framed prints.

Located deeeeep within Mercado de Artesanías de la Ciudadela, Mexico City, is a hidden gem; Chema's guitar repair. It wasn't easy to find him but getting lost in the market, getting my bass repaired, taking pictures of his incredible workshop, and creating this series made the wild goose chase beyond worth it.

Information Consumerism

We live immersed in an endless ocean of information, images, opinions, and contradictory data. My work is born from the noise: from that digital overload that, far from connecting us, creates confusion, anxiety, and a constant sense of loss.

I use elements of pop art, social media interfaces, text fragments, and symbols from contemporary visual culture to build saturated, chaotic, and unstable landscapes. The aesthetic is seductive, but underneath there is a restless pulse: an attempt to depict what it feels like to navigate a reality where everything seems important and nothing really is.

We live in an era where truth, identity, and attention are fragmented. Every day we are exposed to thousands of visual stimuli, overlapping narratives, attractive images, and contradictory messages that generate a kind of visual and mental noise that is difficult to process. My work explores that state of confusion and anxiety that arises from living in a world where the real and the fake coexist without clear boundaries, and where beauty often masks disorientation.

The work does not aim to offer clear answers or obvious criticism. Instead, it acts as a visual experience in which the viewer is invited to get lost, to confront the noise, to question their own reactions in the face of a reality mediated by screens and algorithms. The goal is not to inform, but to provoke a sensation—that mix of anxiety, saturation, and disconnection that has become part of our daily life.

I am interested in creating a symbolic space where one can feel what is often left unsaid: that in the midst of so much connection, we feel increasingly alone, more fragmented, more confused. My works are mental landscapes: colorful, hypnotic, chaotic, full of life… and full of noise.
