“Sky Breath” is a cyanotype made with sunlight, capturing the shadow of an ephemeral sculpture. This process transforms shadow into light, revealing ripples of etheric texture in depthless shades of blue.

What I See at Night

I intended to give the impression of speed. 
Quick-fire colour sketch of partly solid, partly ethereal hanging forms against a night sky.  That was the plan.  In reality, the work took considerable more time and demanded more detailed attention than I had foreseen.
